Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer: CVS Stop


Anna Paquin and husband Stephen Moyer pick up a few items from their local CVS store on Tuesday (July 5) in Los Angeles.

The 41-year-old True Blood actor recently chatted about whether he and co-star Alexander Skarsgard have a friendly rivalry on set given the potential Sookie and Eric romance.

“I’m sure you’d love me to tell you that we loathe each other and we fight every day, but if you came to the set, you’d just see us having lunch, laughing, the three of us,” Stephen told the L.A. Times.

“I went up to him at the beginning of the season, and I just went, look, I want you to do your job to the absolute best of your ability, and I will not be around when you have to do that stuff. I don’t want you to feel like you’re looking over your shoulder and there’s me at the monitor going, get your hands off her!” he added “It’s absolutely not how we roll. Me and him are mates.”

Here’s what the three True Blood stars had to share with the mag:

On whether Joe went through an initiation when he joined the cast:
Joe: The new guy on a show can feel like an outsider. There can be egos and things like that. But Anna was completely friendly, welcoming. Still, the guys won’t let me make eye contact.
Stephen: I make him get on his knees so we’re eye-to-eye.
Joe: But I guess the initiation would be wearing the “sock” [a wardrobe item that protects an actor's modesty in a nude scene].
Alex: I put it on him. [Laughs] Someone had to show him, you know?

On who works out the most:
Stephen: Joe’s insane.
Joe: Yeah. I work out twice a day, six days a week. I eat constantly.
Stephen: I do three days a week. I just don’t want to watch this show 20 years from now and look at myself and say, “Who is that white blob?”
Alex: I do three days a week, too. But with Joe, it’s all about the pecs. He can make them dance.
Joe: Alex hasn’t looked me in the eye once. I’m like, “Up here, Alex. Up here.”

Alexander Skarsgard & Joe Manganiello: Shirtless 'True Blood' Stills!

Alexander Skarsgard and Joe Manganiello show off their fit physique in these stills from Sunday night’s (July 17) episode of True Blood.

The two actor’s characters, Eric and Alcide, got into a heated discussion with Sookie (Anna Paquin) in the middle of it all.

“Anytime the wolves come out it’s always a little wild,” Joe told MTV News.

“Alex and I were both naked, him in the water, me not, yelling … We shot it on Valentine’s Day, so there were a lot of ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’ jokes going on with Anna. It was a lot of fun,” he added.

Alexander Skarsgard: 'True Blood' Panel at Comic Con!

Alexander Skarsgard attends the True Blood panel during Comic-Con 2011 held at the San Diego Convention Center on Friday (July 22) in San Diego, Calif.

The 34-year-old actor was joined at the panel by his co-stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer.

During the panel, footage from the upcoming episodes of True Blood was shown and hints at what is to come were given. Among the tidbits shared was that Eric and Sookie will be taking a shower together!

“I remember thinking that was the pretty much the coolest thing that could happen to me,” Anna recently told the LA Times about becoming an Oscar voter at age 11. It allowed her to watch R rated films when she was still considered underage!
